Excellent food-my Mom and I have a tradition of getting nachos at the Keg every time I’m in town. Always consistent and delicious!

Went for our anniversary expected to have an amazing food and beautiful atmosphere. Sadly that was not the case

My first time at this particular KEG. Food was exceptional. Our server was outstanding. A true professional. Was shocked how busy this location was. Created great ambience & vibe

Very good. We had steak and lobster. Very tasty. Butter for lobster and lobster itself could have been warmer. But overall good as usual

Server was great. The Terriacky Sirloin was tough and chewy. The roast beef was very fatty and not very appetizing looking. The ceaser salad had one of those salad tags in it. The Billy Minor pie was fantastic as always. The bacon wrapped scallops and shrimp cocktail were very good.

We had booked a dinner to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary on august 25 th, in Brandon,Mb. Our starters were fine , delicious as always. From then on it went downhill. 1- I ordered steak and a lobster tail. I love lobster tail as it’s easy to eat and does not require me cracking shell etc, which I hate. 2- we ordered a shareable dish that we both love. The Brussels. 3- I also ordered a side peppercorn sauce To go on my steak. The entree arrived with a half a lobster in shell and I spoke to waiter and said I purposely had not wanted the half lobster as I hate having to crack the shells etc . He did not offer to replace with a lobster tail and I had to ask again for it to be taken to kitchen to have shells slit as I hate doing it, hence the request for the lobster tail. This was done and I ate what I could get from shell. The side order of Brussels came piled on my dinner plate over my steak . This was supposed to be a shareable dish for both of us. Not only were the Brussels raw, but there was no bacon with them and they were tasteless. I had to ask for the peppercorn sauce as waiter didn’t bring it , when he did bring it, it was still chilled straight from the fridge, not even heated. I had to ask for it to be heated , by this time my steak was completely cold but I didn’t want to complain again . We regularly eat at the Keg, it’s a special occasion treat for us and will often spend $600-$1,000 on a family meal. We have never had such terrible food in all the years of going to the keg. It was extremely quiet the night we went and therefore , one would expect the usual consistency and quality in the food. It felt as if nobody cared. It was supposed to be a special night for us and nobody even asked if we were celebrating anything. Hugely disappointed. I have never complained before and don’t like doing it but I find it so sad that the one place we rely on to give us that special experience has totally dropped the ball. Let’s hope it’s a one off!
