A little disappointed this round. Usually the food and all are great, and it was, but my steak was definitely not up to my usual Keg standard. It looked so small, was a bit over cooked, and the waitress (usually they always do something) didn’t offer a new one, or such.

Went to The Keg for my husband’s birthday. It was packed full at 5:30 pm, thankfully I made a reservation. The waitress claimed she didn’t know what time it was when I asked about Happy Hour specials (until 6 pm). Apparently they didn’t have any Chardonnay…. The food was good, if more expensive than average. Not many choices for vegetarians like myself. We had to speak up to hear each other (3 of us) over the chatter of the crowd. It was nice to get a free dessert for my husband. Overall, pretty good - just really busy and hard to hear, and I honestly don’t even remember any music playing, just lot of people talking at once. Next time I’ll try to book for earlier time. Good restaurant, obviously very popular.

Waitress was very attentive to our group. Food was good but not great. Steak wasn't cooked to medium but the waitress corrected it. It was quite noisy but we managed to accept it. Billy miner pie was great for my birthday.

In our opinion The Keg in Abbotsford is number one. It most often gives us the meal we expect. Our choice is usually the Keg Classic filet mignon. This is a steak house and so they know how to prepare a steak to the way you order it and if by chance it isn’t perfect then you send it back until it is perfect. We have always had excellent staff look after us which makes my visit that much more enjoyable. This Keg can be busy at times and when it is the noise level can be a little overwhelming but because the food is so delicious it is something you have to put up with.
