Voted the nation’s favourite family pub, our 18th century village local on the Norfolk coast serves real ales from our microbrewery Brancaster Brewery, home cooked wholesome food, great pub classics including Jolly Smokehouse specials, local seafood, stone baked pizzas and ice cream from a garden beach hut (and not forgetting the largest selection of rum on the coast!).

Just brilliant, not posh and pretentious. The perfect unwind on a Friday night, (well any night or day!)

Recommended to visit this pub for the great beer in particular. However, nothing special on the pumps the evening we went and apparently had no bottled beer either! So disappointing. Waitress had no clue about the beers available and no idea if they had any bottled beers either. Food was good, but the pizza I wanted wasn’t available either! Obviously no-one monitoring either the beer or food situation! Such a shame.

We booked a table for 2. We were delighted with the quick service and friendly staff. The meal arrived promptly and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend this pub for a great place to eat.

Enjoyed our meal at the jolly sailers Brancaster the staff are brilliant smiles and very helpful they even bought my daughter a little birthday cake as it was her birthday with a candle on it we thought that was so kind of them to do this as we never told them it was her birthday she just had her badge on that made her evening thank you so much jolly sailors

Friendly staff and super easy with the dog which was allowed inside to just sit by the table.

Gammon egg and chips. Good sized lean gammon, egg just right. chips not at all greasy. Quick service. A lovely setting for lunch. Very pleasant staff.
