Our second visit..we were here last month with friends for Sunday lunch and it was so good we came back with our family and we were not disappointed. Very good food and lovely pub

Great place to eat menu has improved with more choices, instead of all the fish that was on it last time we visited.

Food and service was excellent but a little spoilt by London prices for a glass of wine and pint of commonly available beer.

Thank you for being so DOG friendly! We’d already had a horrible experience at a different pub in the area and were very anxious about bringing the dogs in. It was lovely to hear the staff saying it was a dog friendly pub and spoilt our dogs massively. Lovely place and lovely people. Thank you!

Lunch time menu good for walkers. Friendly Staff, Service was very quick & efficient. Evening menu also great with excellent service again. We loved the welcoming autumn atmosphere of the Joiners Arms after our long beach walks. Will certainly return.

The food and service was great… It was Friday so fish & chips were had by all. Delicious, especially the fish with crispy beer batter… At close to £20 per serving not the cheapest F&Cs, but it is in a pub setting and it came with extras like mushy peas and mayo, plus I ordered a curry sauce extra… We were all very happy xx

Very nice pub in lovely location. Very nice dining room and fantastic staff. Food is nice. Good variety. I had the steak which was ok but it either needed hanging for longer or it hadn’t been beaten down it wasn’t very tender. Tasty though. Would go again.

Service was average - waiters spent more time clearing and re-setting empty tables, rather than serve us. We were offered water - it didn’t come. Then we waited 10 minutes to be asked for our drinks order, and had to stop someone to ask. Then we had to stop a waiter again to take our food order. Staff seemed very young and inexperienced, or not interested. Then had to wait ages o have to ask to get our bill, then ended up walking to the counter to make payment, as no one was coming over with the card machine. At breakfast - exactly the same experience - hardly anyone in there, but the one waitress that was, wouldn’t come over to take our order - we had to ask again. Quite disappointed with the overall experience, and definitely more training required with the waiting staff.
