Enjoyed Sunday lunch. Dog friendly, nice atmosphere, good service. Only small concern was lack of parking information, there is free parking nearby easily walkable but a notice outside directing you there would have been helpful. Otherwise highly recommend.

The food was bang on, as always. Great portions and quality. I had shared when we booked that we had a baby, but we got shoved in a back corner which wasn't the best. But not end of the world. We had to wait over 25 minutes to order food. 3 tables arriving after us placed orders before us. I eventually had to chase down a staff member. No one came to check food was ok or offer any more drinks so we just left after eating. It's a cracking pub and food is top but service was appalling today. Not one staff member smiled. It was shame as its our mini moon . Hopefully it's better next time.

Lovely pub, with service super. Good beer selection and a nice touch to see high quality cocktail making. Food was of good quality.

Excellent meal in lovely surroundings. Large choice of gluten free options. The staff were exceptional and were very knowledgeable about different allergies. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was very good but service was a bit slow. Overall an enjoyable evening.

I don’t like restaurants that charge extra to provide a few potatoes or vegetables with the meal by calling them “side dishes” at £4.50 each.

On arrival we were greated and sat at a table, the menu on the table was damp and stained around the corners, but we ordered with meal being servered in around 35mins. HOWEVER this was very salty and over cooked, my wife removed the batter on her meal and only ate the fish, my sea bass I removed the skin and crispy edges, wish I had not as this left a very salty taste once eaten. We decided as the first course was not good to pay the bill and leave. I mentioned the fish was salty when asking for the bill, the waitress informed she would inform the chef, 20mins later they waitress had disapeared and had to ask for the bill again. 1 hour later I was ill and have had mild food poisioning for 4 days. As the fish was over cooked I suspect this came from the lettuce.

Service was poor. Menu isn’t as good as it was previously. Pre booked but on arrival no tables in restaurant so had to be seated in the general bar. Excuse was they had a large party of 20+ booked for the restaurant. Asked to be moved away from dogs, but wouldn’t. They obviously have their preferred customers as others were seated in the restaurant after we arrived!

We would like to reassure you that we do not have preferred customers and do treat everybody the same. Tables are allocated in accordance to party size, and duration of table time, as we book our tables several times over in one night. We are a dog friendly venue throughout and cannot guarantee diners will not be placed next to a dog. We will be sure to take your feedback on board, and hope to see you again in future.
