Soak up our friendly service and homely charm here at the Johnson Arms in Dunkirk, Nottingham. The pub has stood proudly on the side of the river Leen since it was called the Abbey Tavern in the 1860s, before Frank Johnson bought the building in 1904 and renamed it the Johnson Arms. We're the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy our delicious menu with your favourite drink in hand. We're proud to offer a menu packed with the most appetising dishes. Our passion for taking traditional pub classics and making them the best around by using the most decadent of ingredients, makes every meal served have you coming back time and time again!

I traveled 2 hours to Nottingham for Mother’s Day lunch (son at uni) We walked in to find only 2 people in the whole place, and the bar lady said “they do NOT serve food anymore “ & was very sorry 🤷🏽‍♀️😳 Open table should not be booking people in

We arrived just before 13:00 and the place was closed with no sign of life. Big waste of our trip to Nottingham!

High quality as Tony and his staff always make us feel welcome, Beer is great,food is wonderful, thoroughly recommend the Johnsons to anybody looking for a good pint and great company.
