Had the Sunday roast and it was superb! The heritage tomatoes to start were outstanding and the chicken roast dinner was equally as good. Service was really good and whilst it isn’t the cheapest, it is great value for money.

Visited for my birthday meal - Steak Night. The food was delicious and good value. The service was great to start with, however when a large group arrived we seemed to have been left waiting around for the dessert menu / bill but this is understandable when you are so busy. The Cocktails are great! People smoking on the terrace isn't too pleasant when you are eating as it blows right through. Overall it was a lovely meal and we would definitely return when next in the area.

Fabulous evening with friends. The food was amazing, we ordered almost everything on the menu. Special shout out to the heritage tomato and ricotta dish. Portions were generous and everything was cooked to perfection. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient. Could not fault our evening and we will be back.

Great food. Nice to watch the people pass by on beech road. Not too hot as the big doors were open. All in all a very pleasant experience. Service was attentive but not intrusive. My friend has a lactose allergy and staff were helpful and accommodating to this too. We really enjoyed it.

Fantastic Sunday lunch, one of the best we’ve had - the confit pork was delicious. Friendly and attentive staff and good atmosphere.

This was Sunday lunch to. Celebrate the 90th birthday of a very special person to me. We were welcomed to the restaurant and had delicious food. Also, we were we given complimentary drinks which, of course, were very welcome. The food and drinks we chose were delicious, as always at Jane Eyre….

As always, the roast dinner is incredible. Cooked to perfection and good portions size. I usually get a cocktail, which are always great, but went with a house larger this time. I'm not a fan of the larger here, but that's my own individual tastes. I'm sure others love it. Staff are attentive and friendly. Can't fault.

I loved the Hipsy Cabbage, the perfectly toasted sourdough bread with the mushrooms paté and the delicious babaganoush flatbread whipped ricotta. I love your menu, something different and tasty. Everything so well combined with the Terre Nobili Merlot. The lovely lady who served us made our evening even more special, but I have noticed that all the staff members were really nice which has a big impact in the atmosphere you want to give to your bar. Wanted to try the Sunday Roast here for a while and it did not disappoint! Possibly the nicest roast I've ever had (and I have had many). Service was great, lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon.
