Outstanding food and cocktails, the wait staff was very attentive and made excellent recommendations. I always appreciate when the staff points you towards the right meal not just the most expensive option.

The James has the same owners as Arlo and it shows…The attention to detail is second to none. The food, the atmosphere, the entire experience was hands down amazing… The staff is great and they all are extremely knowledgeable and courteous… Drinks and food offerings are fantastic with just enough variety but not overwhelming. I’d say one of the nicest upscale venues on the south shore. It pays homage to the Carriage House and will be here for many years to come. I’ll be going back quite often! Cheers-

10/10 experience! Wish i remembered our waitresses name, but it was my boyfriend’s birthday and she went above and beyond. The food was amazing, as were our drinks. I work in the industry as well and the service went above and beyond my expectations. Thank you for the memorable experience and we will be coming back!!

Very busy and very loud. I prefer quieter more intimate places. Food was good, but didn't meet my expectations. However, the service was outstanding.

Beautiful bar and restaurant. Great service from beginning to end. The food was good nothing amazing. It was a very busy night during restaurant week so I would go back and give the food another shot. The atmosphere and ambiance is worth going again.

The service was great. Dining space very loud. Cesar salad tasted as if leaves were frozen and salmon was very bland

Special restaurant for a special occasion. The restaurant is beautiful, the service impeccable, and the food delicious. We celebrated a birthday there, and they really went out of their way to make it feel extra special.
