We decided to go out to dinner to the James as we had received information that during the month of November on specific days they had a mid week special for $59.00 PP Pri Fix Menu. The selections were excellent, the food was amazing as was the service. The ambiance was just very upscale and it has a real feel good vibe. The service was impeccble as well. I would recommend this to anyone for a very special occasion!!

Everything was absolutely amazing. Took a risk on some choices that we wouldn’t normally order. But we ask and trust the waiters judgement and she didn’t steer us wrong. Ana Besy was the best and will definitely be back to try other things!! I will be talking about this meal for a while! Thanks again! EVERYTHING WAS DELISH!

My wife and I were looking forward to a nice dinner and were surprised when the person at the desk did not great us with a smile or acknowledge us until we gave our name and then simply said "someone will be with you shortly." We were impressed with the decor but found the atmosphere to be quite loud inside. The waitress was polite, but not very attentive. We ordered from the tasting menu (price fix), and we wanted to try the crab cake from the regular menu. We were surprised when they brought out the crab cake with our salads and it was cold. I ordered the pork chop that was very spicy and several times my water glass remained unfilled despite asking several different staff members for water. The food was ok (chop seemed dry and overcooked as was my wife's salmon). The tasting menu includes cheesecake for dessert that was brought out to the table immediately after they cleared the table of our plates, and they never asked us if we wanted anything else like an after-dinner drink or coffee. The check came soon after and it seemed like they were rushing us out.

Server was excellent food was great! Bar staff were super friendly. We will definitely go back. Maybe they could change the elevator music.

Beautiful restaurant, great food, bright open bar and excellent service. The only downside is that the Dining room tends to be a bit loud.

Food , Service, drinks, ambiance , decor , vibe, you name it was amazing! However one small complaint , everyone at my table including myself were very uncomfortable in the upstairs dining room chairs. Slightly higher than normal chairs but seat base felt as if you were sitting on a bar stool , not very comfortable at all

Second time here, love the food. Noise level a little high, and prices a little high but service is great! Will be back. Pretty place.

The James offers an updated, welcoming ambiance. The bar area is designed beautifully. Unfortunately, the wait staff has not been professionally trained or managed. Our waiter was aloof and at times, downright rude. The food quality was below average. It was a very disappointing experience.
