Our first time having a taster menu and Jackdor did not disappoint. My husband and myself were a little nervous prior to the evening, but we enjoyed every mouthful and the whole experience of fine dining. The staff were so attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming and wow the food and wine was outstanding!!! We thoroughly enjoyed what was a celebration of 10 year marriage. I will be recommending this quaint little place to all I know.

Excellent food and service, would highly recommend. The menu was well balanced, excellent attention to detail with interesting flavours and textures.

Nice tasting menu except the bread course in the middle of the serving was far too much and we didn’t like the accompanying beer from the wine flight. Overall food was lovely, fairly plain ambiance and slightly disappointing the chef didn’t come out and introduce himself at the end of the serving. The waiting staff were excellent and introduced each course informatively.

Absolutely outstanding menu - flavours sublime - just perfect. Service also perfect at all levels - constantly present without being intrusive. The perfect destination for the best culinary experience in North Wales!!!

Delicious food, amazing service. You get what you pay for, loved celebrating my friend’s birthday there, would highly recommend. Was a little nippy though, so next time I’ll bring my coat!

Had an excellent meal there. Food was delicious, staff were very friendly and the ambience was nice and relaxed and not at all stuffy. Will be going back.

Phenomenal food and brilliant service by young front of house staff. We booked the Summer Taster menu and opted for the Four Wine Pairing to go with it, and we can’t fault the experience. The service was impeccable - really friendly, welcoming and professional (but not intimidating to those who, like us, are not used to this kind of experience). The food was incredible - a brilliant balance of flavour, texture and depth to each dish and the menu was beautifully put together. Also, I was very full towards the end of the evening (which can’t always be said!) but the dishes were light enough towards the end that there was just about room for everything! Thank you so much - on this occasion, we were gifted a voucher as this is something we would not normally be lucky enough to experience, but now that we have, we will make sure to return in future!

A high value dining experience all round. The welcome, service and ambience matched the quality of the food, the presentation and the information about the dishes and drinks. In total, it was a feast for the heart and head as well as the taste buds and other senses! Many thanks to all involved in our special evening.

Very good menu except for the bread course thought that was something put in to fill you up at £95 a head was a bit disappointing. All so thought one of the sweet courses was very salty. But all in all a good experience.
