Had lunch which is a set menu, brilliant focus on local quality producers, imaginatively combined to create a beautiful menu. Would highly recommend. It appears that the only time that can be booked is 12:15, this work out well as the whole room experience the courses at the same time.

We had a lovely meal out for my partners Birthday for the first time since our 1st child was born. Trying to have a tasting menu with an 8 month old is really difficult but thanks to the expertly attentive waiting staff, who really went out of their way to make it easy and comfortable for us (and frankly being blessed with a really patient baby) everything went really well. The food was absolutely beautiful and a feast for our fine dining starved palates! I would certainly recommend eating here to anyone who likes this style of cooking and dining. Well sourced local and seasonal produce is used with a thoughtful Welsh theme running throughout... delivered in some extremely clever cooking. Some dishes of such great originality that I haven't had anything at all like them elsewhere in the Michelin star world. Though I was driving and couldn't really have drink the pairing menus available looked reasonably priced and the wine list looked very interesting. I will certainly be back, but perhaps when my kid is old enough to be babysat by Granny.. The only minor grumble I have is about the chairs - incredibly uncomfortable if you are a bigger than average diner - due to some knobbly bits on the TOP side of the seat - though they look lovely I'd advise ditching these asap - in favour of something a little more conventional as these aren't at all comfortable. Jay Raynor would be in agony : )

Excellent food as always. Gareth was also great, energy, knowledge and enthusiasm levels on point as always. Our other waitress was also great.
