Went for late Sunday Roast. The quality of the beef was excellent but the thing that really makes their roast is the exceptional gravy. We also had a delicious cote du Rhone at £36. Friendly staff and beautiful grounds to the pub. My only complaint would be the very bright harsh bare bulbs in the light fittings. I know this is an interior design trend but I know I’m not alone in finding these very annoying. But don’t let that put you off having a delicious meal.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. The setting is beautiful, the food is delicious and the staff are so warm and welcoming. We had a wonderful meal and overnight stay. We would highly recommend.

The food was outstanding, the place was beautiful, and the surroundings were just fabulous! We will deffo return.

Very pleasant evening with friends. Lovely setting and great food and attentive staff. Beef carpaccio was great and beer battered cod. Jack Russell gin and tonic was very nice to start with. Look forward to coming back again.

Lovely meal in a very quaint inn. Very dog friendly, as one might imagine by the name. The food choice and quality was fantastic.
