Lovely location, friendly staff with good service. Menu could do with a few more options but food presented well and was good quality. Would recommend

Stunning location. The best pub garden in the area. Interesting items on the menu and everything we had was really good. Good value wine options, some local beers as well as some from further afield.

Our overall experience was a great one, the food was great, the service was great, my girlfriend was especially happy knowing you stocked her favourite wine choice. Unfortunately there was one thing that let our experience down, while being a huge dog lover and have myself three, we believe that dogs should not be allowed in the restaurant area, it caused unnecessary disruption to the dining experience. We we very happy to see that you welcome dogs into the establishment, but dogs should remain in the bar area in the future. We very much love your establishment, but will not dine here again until said change has been made.

Great little place . Always friendly and lovely atmosphere. Doggy always welcomed and accommodated. A homely feel. Lovely staff and easy car parking

We felt quite lonely in such an open space when we first arrived and would have liked to be in the bar area of the restaurant. But it soon picked up and we had a superb time. Our servers were very friendly and good to chat to. We had fried gherkins to start which were amazing. Followed by a beef roast, which was sensational and one of the best roasts I've had this year. My partner had the vegetarian main and adored it! It's really refreshing to have something that isn't just your run of the mill fake meat or nut roast for your main. The house wine was pleasant. And the chocolate mousse and crumble deserts were equally great! We can't wait to come back!

We were a large table of 13 the food was excellent. The service was outstanding and very reasonably priced. I cannot recommend this enough. It’s beautiful you can take dogs. They’ve got a lovely outside area. Certainly give it a go.
