Why I would never go to J Parker again: 1) Food below par. Got the chicken sandwich, chicken was pink. 2) staff preferred to talk amongst themselves instead of attending guests. 3) way too long a wait for food (waited at least 30min for churros. Long wait for each course ordered. 4) poor service overall, staff in extreme rush even when restaurant had only 1-2 tables occupied. The person attending our table left before I could even complete my sentence.

Felt extremely rushed even though it was empty, waiters were extremely curt and the cocktails were just okay. Seemed like folks only come here for a first date due to the food and not an actual place to return to as a regular.

Service was good. The ambiance was nice. Food was just okay. The morcilla didn’t taste fresh. The cinnamon roll for the French toast also didn’t taste fresh.

In our hour and a half at the J Parker, our server came to our table no more than 3 times. After delivering our drink order, they never returned to take our food order or offer refills, so we left. The ambience is great, but the service is not why you go for $25 drinks

Upon arrival we were enamored by the view. However, they seated us at a low patio couch and narrow coffee table in the center of the terrace where we lost the whole effect and the evening sun was blazing. There were at least 4 empty tables along the outer edges of the Terrance with lovely views and shade. After requesting a move the manager did reseat our party. Although we enjoyed our food we did observe a few health concerns: 1) men’s restroom was not stocked with toilet paper 2) my husband witnessed a manager use the facilities and leave without washing his hands 3) a long hair was found in a cocktail

Such a lovely view, the best thing about the space. One of the managers (I assume) was attentive, but our waitress seemed to be overwhelmed with a half-full house.

Pleasant experience! Staff was friendly and helpful. For was good. The music wasn't so loud that we couldn't talk. Great view of the city and lake.
