Food was delicious. Service is excellent. Our waiter and the chef sorted vegetarian option for me, so I could have a Sunday roast dinner. Always a pleasure to visit The Ivy Winchester.

Great service, fabulous food, particularly the Fish and chips and Chocolate Bomb, beautiful restaurant re ambience would thoroughly recommend a visit

I booked a table for 2, and specified a date. They changed my booking to 4, as allowed my husbands friends to amend it as a joke when we arrived they were sitting there. And it was a date night which we don’t often do. I was so angry that the ivy changed our booking without discussing it with me. And all I got was that slot of PAs book for management which get changed all the time. But they clearly didn’t read my booking details as it said a date night! Shame on you Ivy!

The prawns and monkfish in my monkfish curry was over done. The coating of my salt and pepper squid starter was not crispy. I was on a first date so did not wish to complain; but having chosen the Ivy as a higher quality / more expensive restaurant as a safe bet I was quite disappointed

Wonderful afternoon tea, delicious sandwiches and cakes. Only issue was the table was a little small to have the tea pots on the table while eating, so only had tea after most of the meal was eaten, which was rather disappointing. Also, although the service was very polite we did have to request attention a number of times. Other than that, a great time.

The waitress Amy L was lovely. The afternoon tea - missing items told menu changed but others had the missing item. Tea bags and not tea leaves. Seating area very noisy as was a dining area - for me afternoon tea is always tranquil. Whilst what we had was ok and would come back for a meal but not afternoon tea. I was expecting a better experience as it was the Ivy

My wife's food was good my chicken salad was awful chicken very dry and tough,told the waiter and was given free tea and coffee mentioned our wedding anniversary on booking and nothing complimentary arrived

Little tired of being palmed off with badly located table. It was a special occasion, as I had mentioned and we had the table by the front door which was cold, drafty and a lot of people going back and forth. I asked to be moved which we weee. The staff are very good but at the time of leaving 9.30pm ish it was very difficult to get anyone’s attention to pay the bill! The food is nice but feel the best thing about it now days is the decor.

Whilst the food, service and wine were excellent the noise from 3 women at the bar was unbelievable. We could hardly hear ourselves think. We will not die in the window again.
