We used to go here regularly and loved it, but haven’t been since 2022. On this occasion, the food was very patchy. A couple of my prawns for my Tempura weren’t fresh. The wine tasted like it hadn’t been stored properly (oxidised, dark yellow), but I entrusted my husband to determine if the initial pouring was good - last time I do that! Although generous in size and nothing suggesting it was off, the fish in my fish and chips tasted like it came from a downmarket pub lunch. The chips were done well. My husband’s burger wasn’t juicy although they never did ask how he wanted it done. The desserts were nice. I have nothing against the service. It was attentive and friendly, but the food experience was a lot left to be desired. We will be sticking to Ivy Chelsea in future as they haven’t ever disappointed us.

My first bad experience with an Ivy chain restaurant. The food and drinks (non alcoholic cocktails) were both really underwhelming. I had chicken milanese which was oily and bland and a peach iced tea which was really bitter. My partner ordered a medium rare steak and it came well done so had to send it back as it was £37 with no sides. Bit of a disaster! However, the waitress who served us was amazing, kind, efficient and really helpful.

Service was great along with the food and setting. Our server was brilliant, and I am sorry I have forgotten his name.

The room was noisy. The corridor we were sitting in a wind tunnel. The table service indifferent… ranging from rushed to forgetting about us. The squid starter minimalistic - the smallest portion I have seen. The truffle chicken milanesa tough because it had been overcooked and was tasteless. Given all of this £70 per head with no desert and only one bottle of wine between 3, we felt it expensive and very disappointing

Service was nonexistent and wasn’t asked during the meal if everything was ok. Waited around 15 minutes for plates to be cleared and again wasn’t asked if everything was ok with the food even though the plates had food left.
