Waiter was great - he saved the day, he was very helpful. A couple of minor hiccups with service but generally service good. Sorry to say food was poor. All 3 steaks awful. One sent back as ordered rare and it came well done with not a hint of any pink. Mine was edible but incredibly chewy. Broccoli nearly raw. Other veg not great. Accompanying sauces came in tiny portions, a teaspoon of Bearnaise for four and a half quid. As my guest had chosen the venue I wasn't going to complain or fuss, but will definitely never go back. Generally the place has a nice vibe, clean and tidy with a nice buzz about the place, like all of the Ivy's, touristy. But someone seriously needs to sort out what is coming out of the kitchen, it really was not good.

Great food as always, setting in the Victoria Ivy, upstairs is great. Waiter/Waitress could have been better with the drinks ordering, drinks were ordered to be enjoyed with certain courses but on mains and deserts drinks came halfway or after the course had been finished.

The restaurant was very busy and initially we had to wait outside in the drizzling rain until we could get to the reception desk. At that point things progressed smoothly. It was evident they were short of wait staff and there was a lengthy delay before anyone approached us to ask if we were ready to order. I found that unusual, as normally you just about get seated when they ask if you would like anything to drink! So, no aperitif because the drinks order was taken alongside the food order. The servers were delightful and very apologetic about making us wait. The food was excellent and good value for London. By the time we were leaving the restaurant was very quiet.

There's a great buzz about the Ivy Victoria. We had a nice business lunch that was good value for money. The staff are very helpful, but our waiter got a few parts of our drinks and food orders wrong. Nothing to spoil the overall experience though!

We enjoyed the quieter ambience of the upstairs restaurant at The Ivy Victoria very much. The service from the bar staff to the table staff was just excellent. Food really good. Thank you Ivy. Definitely will be back.

The biggest problem was the tremendously slow service. We were late for our play even though we arrived two hours prior to the start. The restaurant is beautiful, but the menu seemed very limited for a nice London restaurant
