Roll up, Roll up, The Ivy Circus will be taking over our iconic venues this New Year's Eve. Get your glad rags on and grab your favourite people to make this a true Ivy night to remember , featuring a bespoke set menu and dazzling entertainment. From arrival to departure, the Ivy team looked after our needs superbly well. We are uncomplicated diners. Looking for great food and service. We chose 3 items each from the 1917 menu and Primitivo Italian Wine. Perfect.

Attended with friends for pre theatre meal. Food/service was excellent. Coffee was a let down being extremely strong but only complaint!

We had afternoon tea for 4 people which we enjoyed, however we were seated on a very small round table which ruined our experience. The table which could seat 2 comfortably, was nowhere near big enough for 4 cake stands, 4 kettles, 4 cups and saucers, 4 plates, 4 glasses for water, 4 cocktail glasses , 4 sets of cutlery and a pot of sugar and a bottle of water. I struggled to see the person opposite me due to the cake stand being in the way, so could not have a conversation with her. We had to be very careful how we moved around the table and we had to get the waiter to come over every now and then to take empty glasses/plates away from the table to give us some space. It did not make any sense to put us on this table and we should have been moved to a bigger one straight away as there were empty tables. Although the food was good, this is not what we will remember this experience for.

Quite disappointing, we’ll actually very disappointed! Booked a slot for the “set menu breakfast.” Sat down at 10:57. Didn’t get served until 11:17 to then be told we’d missed the breakfast which finished at 11am. Had chips for breakfast! To top it off the waitress asked the birthday boy if it was his birthday to then not act upon it but pass him the bill! Service is the worst I’ve experienced out of all the Ivy’s I visited. Safe to say I won’t be in a rush to return to this one, unless I’m desperate for overpriced oven chips at 11:00 in the morning 🤣

The vegetarian afternoon tea was below average. The scones did not taste fresh and the deserts were nothing special- Madeline with chocolate sauce and a coffee cream. Definitely not value for money. The customer service was poor. We had to wait 40 minutes for our sandwiches to arrive. The table for two was cramped. Very disappointing experience.
