Immerse yourself in the magic of the season with our Festive Set Menu. Enjoy two courses for £55 or three for £60 and delight in our show-stopping festive dishes, selection of fine wines and seasonal cocktails. Tables of 7+ must book our Group Festive Set Menu experience. Guests dining on our Festive set menu can choose between two or three courses for lunch, available from 11:30am - 6:30pm. We are a group of friends who used to work at the same company and meet at the Ivy in Birmingham twice a year. We usually choose from the 1917 menus, which has 2 courses for £19.17 with dessert an additional £5, which is good value for the service and quality of food in the centre of Birmingham. The drinks are expensive, but probably no more than other places.

Excellent place, superb atmosphere and ambience; service faultless; food superb. First time I have eaten there but will definitely come again.

The food was absolutely amazing; the flavours were just outstandingly delicious. The only thing that let the evening down was the delay in collecting our payment to settle the bill. The waiter then made an error and charged too much to my friends card. This resulted in needing to provide a refund which in turn meant I missed my train home from snow hill resulting in a £25 taxi journey home!

Great vibe...busy so there was a bit of a wait but we sat at the bar which was fine. There was a mix up with the bill so I was glad we queried it. We would have paid £40 extra!

From arrival to departure, the Ivy team looked after our needs superbly well. We are uncomplicated diners. Looking for great food and service. We chose 3 items each from the 1917 menu and Primitivo Italian Wine. Perfect.

Attended with friends for pre theatre meal. Food/service was excellent. Coffee was a let down being extremely strong but only complaint!

We had afternoon tea for 4 people which we enjoyed, however we were seated on a very small round table which ruined our experience. The table which could seat 2 comfortably, was nowhere near big enough for 4 cake stands, 4 kettles, 4 cups and saucers, 4 plates, 4 glasses for water, 4 cocktail glasses , 4 sets of cutlery and a pot of sugar and a bottle of water. I struggled to see the person opposite me due to the cake stand being in the way, so could not have a conversation with her. We had to be very careful how we moved around the table and we had to get the waiter to come over every now and then to take empty glasses/plates away from the table to give us some space. It did not make any sense to put us on this table and we should have been moved to a bigger one straight away as there were empty tables. Although the food was good, this is not what we will remember this experience for.
