The food was amazing. Unfortunately the service wasn’t the best. Also a service charge was put on to the bill and we weren’t aware until we looked properly at the receipt when we got back to our hotel. We were annoyed that it was included and we weren’t made aware of it. We would always give a tip, but the service change was way too much. Especially as our table service was poor.

The chicken was a bit dry but the service was great. Will definitely be coming back.

Lovely afternoon tea, sandwiches and cakes were heavenly, but the scones let it down, over baked, hard to cut and very dry. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star review.

Afternoon tea was delightful plenty to eat, in Fact too much we had to have a box to take some home

A bit disappointed! Booked The Ivy Birmingham for my daughter’s graduation dinner with family & friends. Arrived to a fairly cold and clinical welcome, seated, drinks then took ages arrive and one missing from our order. Food slow to arrive to the table (starters 1 hour after we sat down), waiter then stood resting the tray on a side area waiting for assistance to deliver food to the table. Waitress service again, cool and clinical. This place could be great, but front of house needs some attention - customers need to feel welcome.
