For those looking for a little something extra to celebrate with friends or for a special family lunch, The Ivy St. John’s Wood offers a semi-private dining area, seating up to 8 guests. Positioned at the back of the restaurant, the semi-private dining area was designed to provide an intimate area within the main restaurant, giving you the option of a more private setting. Available for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner reservations it offers the perfect setting for group bookings, whatever the occasion. No minimum spend or set menus required. Guests are invited to order from the restaurant’s main menus. The restaurant also offer a table seating 10 guests in the main restaurant, the ideal place to celebrate family birthdays or gatherings in the bustling atmosphere of the restaurant.

Excellent service. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Nothing too much trouble which enhanced our experience. The food and presentation outstanding. We had a lovely evening and will definitely return.

Perfect, thank you all, first you agreed to our request to change the booking time by half an hour and then we were able sit at our favourite table, well done, hugely appreciated.

Excellent service. Tasty food. We celebrated my daughter's birthday and they surprised us with a small profiterole with a candle, which was very thoughtful.

It’s become quite lazy - had to wait to be served had to wait for the bill had to wait for drinks - it was really loud as next door table might have just been sitting on us. Menu has changed a bit but food was average - I haven’t been for a while and was underwhelmed

Very slow service. Had to keep raising my hand to get what I had ordered. Drinks, wine, food Shame because otherwise it’s a great place, nice brasserie atmosphere and simple delicious food

Visited for the Sunday evening Steak night. Delicious Bavette steak with chips and a glass of red wine. I did have to ask for the deal though, as it wasn’t advertised on a menu for our visit - luckily I had done the research. Also ordered a dessert, which was just as delicious. Great value meal too.

1 of the worst eating experiences I’ve had, we arrived 10 minutes late (within the breakfast time) to be told only brunch available, the front of room staff didn’t seem to want to be there and we’re very rude, food was awful and extremely overpriced. Never again !!!

From the start the hostess was unwelcoming. My 14 year old daughter asked why she was angry which was shameful. Sat me where I did not want to sit and I changed eventually as we were literally sat next to someone very ill. Throughout dinner had to keep waving for service and was only served when I asked where the food was as we were clearly forgotten. I was told my card was declined twice with no apology! I asked where the apology was when it clearly went through and the server said he apologised. Please note the apology was to tell me that he’s sorry that my card is denied. Upon leaving I told the hostess that she was very unwelcoming to which she said in an attitude to go complain to the manager and I said ok get him. Manager came and told me I’ve been charged twice!! Upon looking at my bank st I saw I had been charged twice (I would have left if he hadn’t been called!). When I was then leaving the hostess muttered something under her breath to which I asked what she said and joking aside she was ready to fight me! Saw her screaming and her colleague pulling her inside from the door outside. Absolutely horrifying and traumatic experience. My daughter had already run outside in panic and fear. I am utterly disgusted and disappointed to say the least. Horrifying experience. Surely someone must take action!

I went with my family to eat before The Open Air Theatre. Both food and service was excellent. Very enjoyable and happy to return
