Super food and service, but a Saturday evening was perhaps not the best night for a quiet atmosphere. We couldn't fault the quality, presentation or taste of the food and the service was, as you'd expect, excellent.

Stunning food, great service & wonderful atmosphere. We had a table by the window which was fabulous.

The food Di not taste good . The steak was not cooked well and was tough. The salmon tasted slightly off and the desert mixture of flavours was not pleasant

Where do I start. Booked The Ivy for a very special occasion to celebrate the anniversary of my daughter’s stem cell transplant and it did not disappoint. The decor was wonderful, the food scrumptious. I’ve never ate fish like it, so tender and fresh. The service was 10/10 attentive without being intrusive. My daughter was surprised at the end with a complimentary dessert. It was a first visit but definitely not our last. Well done The Ivy for a wonderful meal to celebrate an outstanding occasion. 👏🏽

We had the afternoon tea as we went to celebrate our anniversary, the service was fantastic and the cakes where delicious. The sandwiches where a little bland other then the smoked salmon one, that was beautiful. the decoration and ambiance were amazing, what a beautiful setting to celebrate. Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed a lovely lunch from both the main and 1917 menu with wine. Service was fantastic as was the value. We booked while we were in the train so although the restaurant was busy managed to get a slot at our preferred time on open table.

This was our second visit to The Ivy, York. Once again, there was a lively and vibrant atmosphere, although a little noisy at times. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was good, although the roast chicken in my salad was a little tough. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
