Our first time at the ivy York. It is as good as it looks from the outside. Excellent service and great food. It was the icing on the cake for our daughter celebrating her 18th birthday.

Dinner at The Ivy in York was just what we needed after a long day’s sightseeing in Yorkshire. Fabulous cocktails - some of the best we have had in a long time - very good food, and friendly and attentive service. Given the large size of the venue we couldn’t believe the quality and speed of what was coming from the kitchen. We’ll have no hesitation about visiting another Ivy location in the future.

Really enjoyed the experience, staff were very polite, food was very good, and the ambience was very nice. The icing on the cake was the birthday profiterole.

The food is good. But the service could be much better. The waitress came to ask questions during our talk and disturbed our conversation. Then when I needed some help she was standing there without turning back to have a look at these tables she should look after. The service fee has been included and the proper service should be there.

Service Just as good as all other Ivys however the food quality is the best Iv had and Iv dined at most. Lovely setting and it’s great to sit in a busy environment. Shame about the rain but not even that could spoil our dinning experience. Management very good lovely to see senior people involved well done for keeping the Ivy standards as high as all other Ivys.

Great meal out for a special occasion. Attentive staff and a lovely place for a romantic meal. Wrote in the occasion box that it was my boyfriend’s birthday and they brought out a complimentary dessert with a candle in which was a nice touch!

Fix menu is a great deal at The Ivy always has good options and as good as a la cart.
