Roll up, Roll up, The Ivy Circus will be taking over our iconic venues this New Year's Eve. Get your glad rags on and grab your favourite people to make this a true Ivy night to remember , featuring a bespoke set menu and dazzling entertainment. We had a good experience. The only downside was the service was a bit too frantic. Not a relaxing atmosphere. We also found the Prosecco was quite pricy at £50 a bottle.

The food portions and quality did not match the price. My wife's glass of gin had bits floating in it that was not part of the drink. The drink was changed quickly, and the staff were helpful. But I will never dine at this chain ever again. Groups shouting, not talking, so the restaurant turned up the music, not a good atmosphere to dine.

Food was good, but service was outstanding. I let them know in advance that it was our anniversary and they were extremely nice and attentive. We even got a complimentary for our anniversary. The place is beautiful

Terrible! Steak Tartare cooked?! That’s what I was served at Ivy St Helens. Floor manager insisted it wasn’t. Server told me it had been seared. Had it again at the London West St, where I’ve gone for over 20 years. It was better and prepared table side unlike York. Portion was dinky though. My partner was disappointed with his meals in both locations he reported fish and chips was not great. And they replaced the sauce on their signature shepherds pie with something bland Both his meals looked unattractive unlike previous visits. The Ivy has lost its luster, as often happens, when a restaurant expands and loses its quality control. Nostalgia doesn’t cut it. Sadly. Time to find new favorite London haunt.

Booked for my mum’s 70th Birthday. Food and service was excellent. Also made us cocktails that we have had before but not on the menu. All round lovely time

We arrived at the appointed time of 1230 and were shown to table which turned out to be next to the entrance to the lavatories. not the nicest experience. The table was quiet but the service was very slow indeed and I had to ask when our meal would be arriving. We had ordered a schnitzel which was tougher than we had expected and so was offered the steak knife so we cut it. It was garnished with raw radicchio which both of us found so tough that it was left on the plates. I have been to this restaurant on several occasions over the years and I've never had cause for complaint
