We have been to the Ivy in St Albans many times and it never disappoints. The food is always great and the service is amazing.

Excellent food; the ribeye steak was cooked to perfection (medium). Excellent service. Bit pricey but didn't mind pushing the boat out as it was a special occasion (son's graduation).

Our waiter was exceptionally helpful & attentive, the food arrived with enough time between courses for us to digest, and it was delicious. My 2nd visit to the Ivy, and having the 1917 set menu, especially good value for the good quality food.

We were very pleased to meet family ‘halfway’ at the Ivy St Albans. We loved the restaurant, very comfortable seating and delightful staff. But we found the music too loud. We had got together to talk and were not always able to hear what was being said. Please turn it down or let us sit away from speakers. And the food was very nice indeed and reasonably priced. Thank you

Overall great experience. Delicious food, with plenty of choice. Lovely ambience..lighting, decor, temperature and comfort spot on. Even enjoyed going to the loo, as there is a wonderful clove smell, jazz music and beautifully decorated toilets! Negatives.. staff slightly over-attentive - depends what you like. Wine heavily over-priced.
