Roll up, Roll up, The Ivy Circus will be taking over our iconic venues this New Year's Eve. It was the worst experience I had in London for the last 8 years. I had my friends visiting me from abroad and booked a table of 4. The poor service was absolutely a shocking. 1- I had to pick the menu’s myself in order to order. 2- Starters came quite late and then we waited 17 mins on top to get cutlery and small plates to share after requesting them 3 times in a row. (No spoon for a squash soup, no fork for the duck salad, no plate for zucchini fritti to share) cold food by the time cutlery arrived. 3- Asked for glasses to have just water 2 times. 4- One of us is vegetarian and he ordered the vegetarian curry, they brought chicken curry and my friend understood this when he has eaten half way the food. They still charged us for the dish. Didnt even bother to take out it from the bill. 5- I spoke even to the manager in the middle of the dinner saying the experience is terrible and asked if there is anything they can do to improve this before the night is over. He mentioned that he would come to our table and check out the issue but didnt bother afterwards. It was very embarrasing for me and would never like to go there again even though I have been a regular customer for the last 8 years.

Overall had a lovely evening at the ivy however service was very slow tonight having to ask where our main courses were after 45 minutes of waiting . Staff , food and drinks were good just seem to be very slow tonight with dinner taking over 2 hours

To be honest a bit disappointing as we had a voucher to use for my husbands 60th. No acknowledgment of this and we were seated by the kitchen. Wrong starter was delivered, spilt water and thought we were rushed. We arrived early seated for 4 and the bill appeared at 5.05 ☹️

Cramped table. Underside of fish soggy. Slow service (although bread was removed from the bill to compensate). Average experience.

Superb atmosphere, the resident DJ did a great job bringing the energy levels and Christmas mood to the room. Food as always delivered. Service was prompt and friendly. 10/10

Colourful characterful restaurant with a very energetic buzzy chat making conversation difficult. Food was well presented and delicious- we ordered from the fixed festive menu and were certainly very full by the end! Service was ok but only what you'd expect from a local cafe - not a premium restaurant. Eg When our water ran out I had to ask three times before anyone replenished it. They forgot to bring our dessert. Quality Christmas crackers were a nice touch. Wine was expensive We have been to other Ivy restaurants which we enjoyed more Overall a very good meal but the experience could have been even better.

A perfect meal, all 3 courses were top notch and the service was great too, despite being a very busy time in the run up to Christmas. It was an anniversary and a very special way to celebrate. Thank you.

We sat at the counter and it was brilliant Great deco Service a little slow but bar man said they were 2 staff short at the bar Loved the experience at the ivy! :))
