Great place, cocktails, food and service was all excellent. Will definitely be going back. Only thing we didn’t like wasthey had a DJ playing music and it was a little too loud for us!

Great dining experience here during a very busy early evening period. Great location and very nice interior. Our waitress was very attentive and went out of her way to ensure we were looked after. The food was fabulous. My monkfish and prawn coconut curry was delicious and my wife’s trifle desert was the most attractive desert she has ever seen, which she very much enjoyed.

Counter seating good fun, food excellent, service great. Very busy, giving a really good atmosphere but not overwhelmingly noisy and no problem with service as plenty of staff available, plus being at the counter we were able to easily grab someone's attention whenever needed.

The food was nice, but we were pretty much abandoned most of the time and had to ask for waiters to come over to order drinks etc. Must have been at least 20 minutes before we saw someone to order our first round of drinks. They could've made so much more money on us! Sat with empty glasses so long, that over a 3 course meal we only had 2 drinks each. No one really took ownership of our table and we had at least 5 different people at our table for ordering etc. Overall the staff looked unhappy/ tired, angry (arrogant? couldnt make out the difference) - just a lack of team spirit, such a shame.

Unfortunately I have to comment on the service, or should I say lack of !!!! Was celebrating my sister 60th birthday and I had recommended the Ivy . First time for 5 of the party and although the food was excellent the lack of service left me disappointed to say the least . Not what I have come to except from the group , having previously eaten on numerous times in Marlow Oxford and various other restaurants throughout the Uk .

Enjoyed the experience for lunch. Quickly taken to our table, given menus & offered water & drinks. "1917" menu had good choices for both a meat /fish eater & a vegitarian. We had three couses, enjoyed every mouthful. Wiine was competitively priced. Good for Central London. Staff were pleasant & professioal. Would definitely visit again.

My party of 3 chose from the 1917 menu and there was something suitable for us all and we found our meals were presenyed well and very tasty.
