The newly opened Ivy Royal Windsor is the latest gem in our modern-day brasserie crown. Located close to Windsor Castle, it is the perfect place for locals and the visitors who flock here to see the changing of the guard ceremony, to enjoy delectable dishes and celebratory drinks.

In light of Windsor's rich royal heritage, beautifully designed interiors are brimming with elegant touches. Delicate shades of red and gold feature on sumptuous soft furnishings and in the finish of our sophisticated central bar, while pretty jewel-like colours can also be seen in stunning murals and carefully-curated artworks. The Ivy Royal Windsor's all-encompassing menu lists delicious modern British and international Ivy-inspired classics, as well as show-stopping desserts, new-season cocktails and afternoon teas fit for a queen.

Bought a SMALL balloon to the table and discreetly placed behind my elderly father to make a fuss. Was promptly told it was policy to not have balloons, which (excuse the pun) deflated the event & and angered me. Service was amazing and our host couldn’t do enough for us. Normally visit Guildford, & would say Windsor in comparison lacked the edge in terms of food and taste.

Really disappointing food and to constantly be told you have 1 hour 30 minutes left then you have one hour left then half an hour left was just so stressful! I would not eat here again as you just could not relax and our waitress Ella was quite arrogant. Jacob made our night a lovely calming waiter who tried everything to make our experience as nice as possible.

Although the experience was very good, two small slices of a sandwich and a small brioche roll was very poor, most other venues that do afternoon tea do provide a top up of sandwiches.
