The newly opened Ivy Royal Windsor is the latest gem in our modern-day brasserie crown. Located close to Windsor Castle, it is the perfect place for locals and the visitors who flock here to see the changing of the guard ceremony, to enjoy delectable dishes and celebratory drinks.

In light of Windsor's rich royal heritage, beautifully designed interiors are brimming with elegant touches. Delicate shades of red and gold feature on sumptuous soft furnishings and in the finish of our sophisticated central bar, while pretty jewel-like colours can also be seen in stunning murals and carefully-curated artworks. The Ivy Royal Windsor's all-encompassing menu lists delicious modern British and international Ivy-inspired classics, as well as show-stopping desserts, new-season cocktails and afternoon teas fit for a queen.

The food was lovely and service attentive. We had selected the taste of autumn menu at booking, which was not immediately presented to us on arrival, we needed to ask for it. Especially enjoyed the theatre of the deserts arriving (smoke chamber, nougat glacé being flambéed at the table etc)

My first try of The Ivy Sunday Roast Chicken. Oh my goodness, it was so delicious. A very welcome menu introduction. As always, a warm welcome and great service. Not to mention fantastic cocktails 👌🏻

It was a ripped off. Inferior quality. On 3/20/24 I took my American friends to visit Windsor Castle and to complete the visit with an afternoon to experience. Having been to various places for an afternoon tea : Horse guard Hotel, Mandeville Hotel, Coffee Concerto, etc. I feel so disappointed to note the clotted cream was replaced what appears like a froth. Not going back nor to recommend to friends. "Afternoon tea is described as consisting if scones, clotted cream and jam. Clotted cream is a perfect accoutrement to warm fresh scones."

Excellent all round, as usual. Highly pleasant and efficient service from Jennifer alongside the usual buzzing-ambiance and high food quality. Always a pleasure to dine here.

Fantastic food in a real lovely restaurant. A little noisy for my taste (because I have hearing aids) but overall a good dining experience. I’ll come again!

Went on a Sunday evening tried the autumn menu. Asked if I was able to have one of the starters as a main as I didn’t like any of the mains I was told that the head chef refused and said he wasn’t able to offer the change. When it came to the desserts they ran out of what we wanted and only frozen berries was left to Offer or an apple tart which wasn’t even an option on the menu to start off with. I wasn’t happy at all with the service the female manger on that evening was rude and arrogant. Such a shame as I am a ivy member and this was a regular place we went for dinner

This is a birthday lunch for myself and ordered the Taste of Autumn Menu that the food was absolutely delicious and really valued for money. The English sparkling is fabulous and like my little birthday surprise a chocolate choux bun. What a wonderful way to celebrate birthday!
