The newly opened Ivy Royal Windsor is the latest gem in our modern-day brasserie crown. Located close to Windsor Castle, it is the perfect place for locals and the visitors who flock here to see the changing of the guard ceremony, to enjoy delectable dishes and celebratory drinks.

In light of Windsor's rich royal heritage, beautifully designed interiors are brimming with elegant touches. A lovely afternoon tea , the staff were so friendly the food was delicious a perfect family pre wedding celebration , they even brought out an extra special cake for the future bride . Will definitely be back highly recommended

Not a great experience today unfortunately… Had a family lunch which included two children with dietary allergies - options were very limited and frankly not up to the mark. Service wasn’t good at all. Our starter plates hadn’t been cleared when the mains were coming out…mains took forever - nearly an hour and half after ordering. No offer of more drinks etc… The “Sunday Roast” was £29 - one of the worst roasts I’ve had out… roast beef - but it was essentially minute steak cooked to order with roast potatoes and Yorkshires… not worth the money at all…. Really dropped the ball.

We had a wonderful time here, a window table in view was the castle. Waiting staff were attentive and friendly. Food was delicious, came out quite quickly and was hot. Just perfect. We later sat in the lounge area listening to some music and a few drinks. Highly recommend and can't wait to return. Thank you

The welcome and then the service was outstanding. There were six of us and we were offered water straight away. All the meals came out at the same time and all cooked beautifully. The restaurant was packed at 730 pm on a Thursday. If you have room then Anniversary and the celebration bombs were fantastic as a sweet. We are locals and this is our favourite place to eat for special occasions.

My server was excellent and the food was good but getting quite pricey now . There are better Ivy cafes than this one .

Lovely venue with great service. Only criticism would be that the 'sweet items' could be reduced in number and replaced with more savoury items. Top heavy on the sugar levels!

Pleasantly surprised, suspected there might be some dumbing down on The Ivy experience but food and service was very good.
