One of the world’s most famous restaurants, The Ivy, West Street, has welcomed guests to enjoy its contemporary cuisine and unparalleled service for over a century. The Ivy Collection is now to open in Manchester this November, offering a new dining experience set across four fabulous floors.

The Ivy Spinningfields will occupy an impressive, timber framed space within a new development, The Pavilion, surrounded by greenery yet located in the heart of the city.

On the top floor of The Ivy Spinningfields, will be Manchester’s first Roof Garden. With a fully retractable roof, the spectacular space will be open all year round. Guests will enjoy food and cocktails alongside an abundance of planting, greenery and foliage, roaring fire pits and colourful fabrics, all creating an enchanting oasis in the heart of Manchester.

A lovely welcome both downstairs and upstairs. Excellent menu and fabulous waiters. Delicious food and a good choice of wine. The downside was the music pumping out a really unnecessary constant beat. It’s not a rave!!

The service was amazing and our server was great but when the fish and chips were brought over the fish was hanging off the plate and when it was placed down on the table the oil dripped from the fish to one of my guests clothes.

Fabulous attentive and quick service!! Was seen 30 minutes early to our reservation and was everything we needed in terms of super fast service, super friendly staff and amazing food and drink! Thankyou!!!

Ate at the Ivy Roof Garden evening of 26.10. Roasted scallops for starters, they arrived luke warm, , staff were great and took mine and my husband starters away and brought fresh. We both had steaks , chips and veg for main courses, again mine was cold!!! The manager, was absolutely lovely offered to take it away, but I didn’t want another wait. The lighting was poor, we couldn’t really see the menus, the couple on the next table used the torch on the phone.. The restaurant itself was chilly and noisy! The manager spoke to us and adjusted our bill, we didn’t ask , we would rather have had good food, all that said. from reception through to the restaurant the staff were top class

Food was good, but felt rushed the second we sat down. Didn’t even have our cocktails yet and they came over multiple times asking for our food order. Food was served quickly there after.

It was our anniversary and one of use was a vegetarian. The selection was poor, we asked for a drinks menu and it took 30 minutes to get one and then another 20 minutes for the drinks to arrive. After dinner we sat there for another 30 minutes waiting for a dessert menu that never arrived. I asked for the bill and the service charge to be removed, due to poor service. We have eaten at the Ivy many times and this will be the last, very disappointing end to our anniversary day,
