One of the world’s most famous restaurants, The Ivy, West Street, has welcomed guests to enjoy its contemporary cuisine and unparalleled service for over a century. The Ivy Collection is now to open in Manchester this November, offering a new dining experience set across four fabulous floors.

The Ivy Spinningfields will occupy an impressive, timber framed space within a new development, The Pavilion, surrounded by greenery yet located in the heart of the city.

On the top floor of The Ivy Spinningfields, will be Manchester’s first Roof Garden. With a fully retractable roof, the spectacular space will be open all year round. Guests will enjoy food and cocktails alongside an abundance of planting, greenery and foliage, roaring fire pits and colourful fabrics, all creating an enchanting oasis in the heart of Manchester.

Service outstanding staff very efficient and pleasant. Music too loud and not appropriate for dining in my opinion - more suited to a night club - shame as the surroundings are very pleasant.

Overall the afternoon tea was good, but I felt like it needed something else that was savoury, it only had 3 sandwiches would of benefited from something like a pie or sausage roll. Too many cakes, the yellow one had no taste, and the one that was like a doughnut the inside was very overpowering. Scones on the other hand were outstanding. Service was excellent and as it was our anniversary they came with a cake with happy anniversary on it, lovely touch to the end of our food.

Absolutely gorgeous. The food was outstanding as was the service. Would definitely visit again. Highly recommend.

This is the 2nd time and year in a row I have visited where my meal came out cold and my company ate without me. However the service and correction of it was very attentive and excellent. Still my fave place to go the ambience and service is very special.

Even the speaker system was turned down , as obviously other customers had found it too loud it went back up again...I had to listen too intently as the music was too loud for the whole of the meal...possibly as they had a D.J for Saturday evening the age range of patronage was extremely varied. I had to raise my voice to speak which annoyed me. If it had not been too noisy the review would have been better as the service was amazing and the food stunning . When people ask me I will say what I've written and let them make their mind up

Me and my wife went for afternoon tea today and really enjoyed it. The staff were incredibly friendly, with great service and the food was incredible. Totally worth it and would definitely do it again.

Felt very special dining here.. from the welcome greet at the door, through to the waiter server, was so attentive and professional. Food amazing, ambience was trendy, comfortable, nice and bright. Loved the experience and cannot wait to return.
