One of the world’s most famous restaurants, The Ivy, West Street, has welcomed guests to enjoy its contemporary cuisine and unparalleled service for over a century. The Ivy Collection is now to open in Manchester this November, offering a new dining experience set across four fabulous floors.

The Ivy Spinningfields will occupy an impressive, timber framed space within a new development, The Pavilion, surrounded by greenery yet located in the heart of the city.

On the top floor of The Ivy Spinningfields, will be Manchester’s first Roof Garden. With a fully retractable roof, the spectacular space will be open all year round. Guests will enjoy food and cocktails alongside an abundance of planting, greenery and foliage, roaring fire pits and colourful fabrics, all creating an enchanting oasis in the heart of Manchester.

We absolutely loved our time at the Ivy Rooftop Manchester.. The food was so good, really tasty and well presented, as were the cocktails. The service was impeccable, everyone was so polite, and the setting was lovely, especially as it started to get dark, it was just a great vibe.. The birthday surprise was a great touch, we really appreciated that! Highly recommended!

Lovely food and atmosphere. Little shocked by the service charge added on. We sat there with used plates, cups and glasses with little service or check in.

A joint birthday lunch celebration for myself and a lifelong friend. We ate in the roof terrace bar at the top. Lovely ambiance, decor, food and service. We even got a celebratory mini cake each, which was an unexpected but lovely touch. Would definitely recommend.

Not very happy with the new theatrical way of serving the Steak Tartare, there I no need for staff to come balancing a tray to make the tartare. The portion for the main is ridiculously small now due to mixing and scooping into different plates. I prefer having my steak tartare plated like before and for me to have the choice to dress it and mix it how I want with a full portion. What a major disappointment for such a wonderful dish.

Only spoilt by the guy on the next table who decided to take his shoes off and just have his sweaty socks on show. Can’t fault the staff/service though

We chose the perfect day to eat in the roof top restaurant. A wonderful warm sunny day to enjoy wonderful food with great company . Emily was exemplary in looking after us. Can’t fault the Ivy and cannot wait to return. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.
