    There were 3 small finger sandwiches and the scones were not very fresh- quite hard. I had to wait and ask for a tea top up. Quite expensive compared to other local places including the Grand Cafe next door so very disappointing esp as it was a business event I organised.

    All three sandwiches were disappointing I would have preferred more savoury, scones did not seem fresh that day to me or stored badly after baking. Cakes were OK but not visually exiting

    Good service lovely food Had the fixed price menu at £19.00 each for two but with drinks extra on the table and side dish bill was over £88! And service charge So doesn’t make it affordable to go again unfortunately

    Great meal! Lovely anniversary pudding. Was slightly ruined by a large family group next to us that aloud there children to watch loud programmes on there phones.

    It's a nice environment with a sophisticated clientele and an army of waiters to serve you. The food itself is a bit disappointing and there's nothing special about it. The selection of drinks is rather poor.

    Fantastic ambiance with very cool theme, super fast and friendly service and our brunch was so yummy. The Vegiie breakfast was delicious and coffee outstanding. Even the wash room was dream like. Great value foe money. I highly recommend.

    We've never had a bad meal in an Ivy restaurant. The food was excellent, as was the service. There was a very nice ambience in the restaurant. It was very busy at 1830, but you don't feel like it's affecting your meal and overall experience

    Beautiful surroundings as with all Ivy restaurants spoiled by waiting an initial 15 minutes for a cold coffee, and then a very long time to be served a simple one-course brunch which when it eventually came, was cold! I was meeting an old friend for a very overdue catch up so didn't complain but the staff were aware of the very long wait. i didn't mention the cold food as I didn't want to cause a fuss and ruin our morning. Very disappointed.

    We went for a 50th birthday celebration and Oxford was the perfect place to meet up with our friends from London. Unfortunately, this wasn't quite the celebration lunch we were hoping for. The service was very average, we were sat without a drink for nearly 25 minutes on arrival, there was a lot of confusion with relaying allergy information to the two of us who are very dairy intolerant. I ended up eating the squid which is soaked in milk but the information wasn't relayed to my side of the table despite me telling him I was dairy intolerant. I couldn't understand why I've been so poorly since lunch yesterday. The other intolerant person has just told me. The other issue was the quality of the food, it all felt like it had come out of bags from Iceland supermarket, not the quality you would expect for the prices we were paying. We all felt the same, we know there are a lot of good reviews, but we don't feel they are vindicated whatsoever. Especially as allergy information wasn't relayed properly, the staff all seemed like rabbits in headlights. If you have allergies, stay away from here, there's no guarantee you won't be really ill. The atmosphere was good, brilliant if you just want cocktails, but avoid the food at all costs, it's very very very disappointing.
