Very poor service although restaurant wasn’t busy! We had to ask for drinks 3 times before they arrived! Food wasn’t hot either. Very disappointing.

Great food but significant service problems. Long delays (35 min wait to even order), then ages to get bread, then a wrong main dish brought, then ages to get more water. Took 2 and a quarter hours without even getting to dessert. Lovely staff but they struggled. They did knock a couple of items off the bill in compensation, which we appreciated, but has somewhat undermined my previous high opinion of the Ivy.

Service was not good. We were seated at 7:40 pm and our Fish and Chips did not arrive until after 9 pm. Honestly, they were quite mediocre.

Wonderful dining experience. Beautiful restaurant and excellent service. We loved the menu with all sorts of interesting flavors and dishes and the drinks are amazing also. Highly recommend.

We loved the ambiance and the interior decorations. The food was not exceptional. The front desk host was lovely and made us feel welcome. Unfortunately, that was not the case with waiter. We will not be back and cannot recommend this Ivy to any of our friends.

Overall a lovely meal and nice place to dine. Unfortunately, we found the service to be slow, inlcuding our table being cleared after eating. I was also very disappointed at the fact I was ensured that a complimentary birthday dessert would be presented to us as it was my partners birthday. I had to ask for this to be brought out as staff seemed unaware despite me going in the previous week to confirm this would happen at the end of our meal. We waited for a long time, paid the bill and left. On our way out we saw the dessert with a candle on it sitting on the table of the bar being completely ignored by staff. I felt this ruined the overall experience for us as it was a birthday ocasion and we felt the service was slow, my request ignored and staff seemed oblivious to this (except for front of house staff who were excellent and asked whos birthday it was we were celebrating, indicating they paid attention to the note on the reservation).

We visited for a special occasion but were thoroughly disappointed! Server was nice but he was let down badly by the restaurant with forgotten food, cold food and orders turning up at different times instead of together then charging twice on the bill for the wine. If you are going to charge London type prices then you need to deliver first class food and service. This was neither!

Can’t say we were overly impressed - duck salad contained tiny bits of crispy duck , main steak was ok - no veg , mushrooms or garnish other than a piece of herb . It was a graduation dinner which was to start with a glass of champagne but we didn’t get that till after our main after we asked about it. I ordered creamed spinach and it was watery and tasteless . Desserts were just ok . Service initially was slow although the girl servers caitlin and another young lady were very lovely . We were sat next to the service station which my husband didn’t enjoy as he felt a. It claustrophobic and could here manager talking to the staff .. I don’t think I would come back again to be honest - for the price I’ve had a lot bettter x
