We went as a couple. Staff were friendly and helpful but the food was a major let down. I had the chicken skewers to start it was fatty 'chicken'looked like pork? My other half had the scallops they were soggy not very nice. The mains weren't great either, the ribeye steak was quite tough, my duck curry was flavoursome but didn't look or taste like duck. Overall extortionate prices for relatively poor food plus large service charge on bill. Would not recommend. Drinks very expensive also, normally you get what you pay for but obviously not here.

We booked an impromptu lunch when visiting offspring at university. Food was excellent, service exceptional. 2 drinks, 2 courses, coffee and without question the most unfathomably good mint hot chocolate came to just over £40 each. Quality was great, ambience busy but never hurried. Absolutely lovely afternoon.

A consistently good restaurant, whether you come on a Tuesday evening or late Saturday afternoon - the cooking and service is always excellent. I love coming back here.

Too noisy for easy conversation and the food was frankly disappointing. The staff were very good and service was also very good. Not planning to return.

Personable and attentive staff, but food service was slow. Wine list is overpriced. The area of the restaurant where we were seated was incredibly noisy. As a group of five we had great difficulty hearing one another speak.
