    The outstanding factor for us at The Ivy in Norwich was service. Molly, our server, was the epitome of the kind of service this establishment, from back in its earliest days in London, was known for - and it's great to see that this element of its brand, identity and legacy has been exported into the regions! Molly was personable, efficient and responsive. She personalised our conversation and made my mum-in-law, whose 85th birthday we were celebrating, feel special and treated. She also managed some difficulties without letting them impact our overall experience (e.g. a fire alarm and delays in the kitchen). And she gave exceedingly good advice on our menu choices, based not on her preferences but ours, as she is a careful listener - something lost in the noise and rush of today's restauranteering. The food was the usual Ivy standard - except, the 'roast' seemed more like steaks than slices of roast beef, but still delicious and perfectly (rarely) cooked. And the deserts, especially the Celebratory desert, were inspirational! Thank you team.

    Too many shrieking kids near by for our liking sadly - everything else was lovely - and it was Sunday lunch so fair enough

    Mediocre and vastly overpriced food and drinks. Average service. Would not recommend; there are much nicer places to visit in Norwich.
