Our main course arrived as they were clearing our starter so we asked for it to be taken away When it was served some 40 minutes later it had clearly been kept on a hot plate and the chicken was dry and tough We use The Ivy in Exeter a great deal and do we’re very disappointed

We thought the level of service and quality of food has deteriorated since our last visit the Ivy Cheltenham. Firstly offered a tiny table in corner which was totally unsuitable for a quality meal/service . One of the salads we ordered was swimming in dressing making it inedible. Waiter totally ignored our comment when food was returned. Certainly not the level of quality of service or food expected from an Ivy Restaurant. We won’t be returning to this establishment
