    First time experience of The Ivy and was pleasantly surprised. Food choice was good and cooked really well. Service was attentive and not overbearing. Overall a really nice experience and would go back again.. I had soup and burger..my wife had skewer and burger and two or 3 cocktails of course

    Really bad and slow service, staffs knowledge of drink and food was poor. People from outside public coming through terrace to use bathroom every 5 minutes. Noise level was crazy couldn’t hear yourself talk. Zero communication between staff members. Definitely not the service I’ve had in other Ivy locations.

    We are regular patrons of the Ivy both hear and other restaurants. Everything was very good as usual, however while we had a nice table we had forgot that there was a major cricket match on the screen outside. To say it was noisy was an understatement. Towards the end the restaurant raised the windows and this reduced noise level from over excited cricket fans. Nonetheless less the food, ambiance staff and service offset this……will continue to visit.

    Was amazed I was sitting upstairs o. Balcony which was a bonus as weather was definitely warm. Birthday desert was lovely. Enjoyed mojito champagne first every tasting champagne in mojito thumbs up on that one.

    The burger was overcooked and had to be sent back. The other 2 dishes were good but the sirloin was slightly tough.

    I’ve been wanting to go to Ivy for a long time and was really excited to finally be able to do it. I had high expectations, but unfortunately, they were not met. The food is great, the portions are decent and there is a big choice of options. However, the service is bad, that is why I'm giving 3 stars. I work in hospitality myself, so I know how it should be done. I waited for about 10 minutes to get offered drinks, which was way too long. They clearly do not care about the rule “drinks first, then food”, because I received my starter before a bottle of Prosecco was brought to the table, even though I ordered everything at the same time. The waiters were either in a bad mood or just did not bother to ask how everything was and whether we wanted anything else, etc. It's like they don't care about guests, which wasn't nice. Lastly, they give you dirty cutlery, so be careful to check yours before you start eating anything.

    We sat outdoor and it was perfect for the weather. Not too busy we went around 5pm on a Friday and it was nice and chilled. We sat for 1.5hr and service was good. We ordered the cream tea as we just wanted something light. The scones were freshly made.

    Food was good but service was very slow (and we ate early at 5pm). Had to get up to ask waiter for sauces and were not asked how our meal was
