    Sadly I will not be returning to this Ivy. Reservation for 2pm, had to ask to order our first drink at 2.30pm. 20 mins later we had to call the waiter back to order our food! When the food had arrived the sides didn’t, again, we had to ask where our sides were, our main was now cold as took 15 mins for them to come. Our wine bottle was taken and put in a wine cooler somewhere so had to ask to have our wine topped up! I believe your waiter should be aware of this and topping your glass as and when! We then had to ask for the bill as we were not offered anything else!! Appalling service, sadly I believe they are thriving just on their name as it was most definitely not to the standard we were expecting or at least paying for!

    Took work placement students to get them accustomed to having a informal / formal meeting at a restaurant. Great experience and was well looked after by staff.

    It was a birthday booking. There was no time between starters and main course. Waiters had no idea what they were serving and to whom. The food was OK but small portions especially mine. Nowhere in the booking - at least I did not see it - that we had to leave the table at a certain time.Not to mention the fact that I am disabled and was celebrating my 70th birthday we were literally thrown out by a rude young lady. Shame on you.

    Lovely restaurant. Nice atmosphere with great food . Had the fish curry and apple tart for desert .

    The team at the Ivy made us feel very welcome for the duration of our time there. The food was excellent (especially the salmon crumpet).

    Service was amazing and seating was great. Food not so great, the signature cottage pie has changed and vegetables used to have almonds in them. Everything else really nice.

    Little bit of a wait for pre lunch drinks was disappointing as it was a glass of bubbly that was eventually served after our starter! Food was lovely, extremely noisy but thats usual!

    After we were served the starters we waited about 45 minutes before we had to remind the waiter that we were still waiting for the mains to be served , no explanation or apology was given. We had to rush our lunch as we had to go back in the office. Not a good experience this time
