Music too loud and booming Distracted from ambience Food was average, for the cost, expectations lower than anticipated. Shame as we have had better Expensive for food we received We were spending our wedding present vouchers

Lovely as always! Service was good, we weren’t rushed and our food came hot and yummy. Staff were friendly without being in your space.

As always The Ivy doesn’t disappoint . Food was incredible , service impeccable and always feel chilled and relaxed

My son took me for my birthday! It was lovely our food was great as was the service. I love the building and ambiance - one of my favourites!

I booked a table at the Ivy Brighton 4 months in advance for my best friend & I, who were having a weekend together, after a horrendous year, so decided to splash out and dress up and 'go out for dinner'. She had never been to an Ivy before. We were hoping for a cocktail to start, perhaps 2 courses with a bottle of wine. I foolishly asked "we aren't on a time limit were are?" (I was aware it was peak time on a Saturday evening) hoping for a, no its fine or you don't have to rush. The waitress wasn't sure, so went back & checked, and came back to advise me that we had 1 hour and 15 mins! I double checked, as I thought she had said 1 hour and 50 mins, but she confirmed it was the first. At this point we went without the wine and the dessert and felt very short changed. The whole experience was rushed and we felt very pushed to pay & leave. On exiting we were asked if we had a lovely evening, and I advised the host on the door, that the food that we had was amazing, but it was very pushed and felt we didn't get the full Ivy experience we were hoping for. He apologised. I can see from using this opentable service that a table for 2, has a 1 hours and 45mins limit. We felt extremely let down. Be warned.
