We went to the Ivy in Harrogate on Saturday 7/09/24 for our 40th wedding anniversary as we wanted to do something special and we had the most amazing time the starters were amazing my husband had the French Onion soup and I had the Chicken Skewers and for our mains my husband had the Seabass and I had the Peruvian Chicken which was all delicious and we were discussing if we were going to go for a dessert when the lovely young man who was serving us brought over a complimentary desert for our Anniversary which we both thought was very nice and a lovely touch definitely would love to go again and I have already recommended it to both friends and family who all love going out for dinner

Unusually the food wasn’t good, the scallops and black cod mains were overcooked. It was a really busy evening and the service was very slow. Not the usual experience.

Food was fabulous, we had the dine for £19 (2 courses) and every dish was tasty. Service very good. Very welcoming, great ambience
