    We had an excellent lunch, celebrating a wedding anniversary. Lovely stylish, comfortable relaxing environment with very pleasant helpful young staff. Good food as always.

    Really perfect venue for a celebration lunch. Food was spectacular as are the surroundings. The care given us by our server was fantastic. A really memorable experience. Thank you the Ivy, Exeter.

    Forgot my rice but they took it off my bill which was very professional. Overall the place was lovely for a date.

    Lovely birthday meal. Service was in the main very good, however we did wait a very long time for our mains to come out (think there was a mixup in the kitchen). Food was very good and cocktails fab. All of group enjoyed the meal and we will be back.

    The whole experience was so professionally managed.with well trained staff and attention to detail. Little touches for my birthday that weren't corny or cheap.Food was amazing.Decor superb and cost was very reasonable

    We had the breakfast deal. Almost non existent bacon, it was so small and almost all fat. Solid scrambled eggs, lukewarm beans. The toast never came, when we asked for it we eventually were brought cold toast after we had eaten our meal. I ordered coffee with it, and was brought tea.

    Eating at the Ivy is expensive, but you expect that. The food is good, the atmosphere is great unless you’re looking for a quiet meal out. What has always made the Ivy special, apart from some great buildings, is the level of service. Being made to feel special and a valued customer, makes the whole experience enjoyable and makes it worth paying that extra large bill. For the first time in our experience we were made to feel rushed, constantly being asked what we wanted next as soon as we had finished each course. You need time to enjoy a good meal and the atmosphere, waiters should be attentive, not constantly on your shoulder.
