    Took an overseas friend for lunch for the first time. We chose the "1917" menu plus a few extras. Excellent Zucchini (as usual) plus salad and sea bream.

    Our group was courteously received and quickly seated by friendly staff. The menu had a good choice and was very reasonably priced. The atmosphere was lovely and we had a great central table. Our order was quickly taken and the service was excellent. The meals were all really tasty and very well presented. The traditional fish and chips meal was just fabulous. All our group enjoyed their meals. We were given plenty of time to finish our meals in a relaxed manner and although gone beyond the supposed time slot we not rushed at all. A great experience and will definitely be back again soon.

    The tables are really close together so not a lot of space. It gets very busy, very quickly which means service falls off. They want to take your order immediately and get the food on the table, but then it's hard to get anyone's attention thereafter. Food was nice but nothing special, given the price. If you want somewhere close to Liverpool Station and you've booked then it's as good as anywhere else but nothing special

    Hi, I would never normally mark down the service for your guys, as it is normally 5/5, however I have been a customer for many years and go to a number of different locations, although mainly the St Johns Wood and Icy City Garden outlets, so I can judge I think that the service timing was a little off when we visited yesterday. The staff were great as normal, pleasant, polite and very professional. however we seemed to wait an age for drinks and then for our food order to be taken. Wasn't the end of the world, but just being harsh as the service is normally so high.

    from the moment you walk in and are warmly greeted to the service, I cannot fault my experience at the City Ivy.

    Took my 13year old daughter after a trip to the theatre in west end I’ve worked in city for years but never visited this Ivy here and I have to say it was a delightful experience to share with my daughter I’ll be back !
