Service was slow and inattentive. Eg asked for drink - didn’t arrive, asked for toothpick - didn’t arrive. Asked manager for bill looked me in eye and walked on. No warm welcome or find farewell. No offer to take coats on arrival

Always a pleasant lunch. Lovely atmosphere, always appreciate the wide choice on the menu and it is reasonably priced for the overall experience. And nice to be able to finish off a lovely lunch with a couple of cocktails at the bar! 👌

The restaurant is unreal. It’s absolutely gorgeous and the atmosphere is very special. The food is absolutely delicious. We had a very special evening for my daughter’s birthday.

Took an overseas friend for lunch for the first time. We chose the "1917" menu plus a few extras. Excellent Zucchini (as usual) plus salad and sea bream.

Our group was courteously received and quickly seated by friendly staff. The menu had a good choice and was very reasonably priced. The atmosphere was lovely and we had a great central table. Our order was quickly taken and the service was excellent. The meals were all really tasty and very well presented. The traditional fish and chips meal was just fabulous. All our group enjoyed their meals. We were given plenty of time to finish our meals in a relaxed manner and although gone beyond the supposed time slot we not rushed at all. A great experience and will definitely be back again soon.

The tables are really close together so not a lot of space. It gets very busy, very quickly which means service falls off. They want to take your order immediately and get the food on the table, but then it's hard to get anyone's attention thereafter. Food was nice but nothing special, given the price. If you want somewhere close to Liverpool Station and you've booked then it's as good as anywhere else but nothing special
