Ideally located between the stunning Sussex Coastline and the beautiful South Downs, the Ivy Chichester Brasserie is the perfect spot for anyone taking a break between shopping on the city's bustling high street, or the visitors who flock to see its famous cathedral and art gallery.

The ground floor includes a round bar area while the restaurant's stained-glass windows take their design cues from the history that surrounds this beautiful cathedral city. Lavish furnishings and other eclectic design touches will appeal to theatre-goers here for the acclaimed Chichester Festival. The brasserie's outdoor terrace features comfortable seating, plants and lanterns, so when it's cold outside, you can still dine alfresco.

    Monday lunch, not a lot of customers and not a lot of ambience. Waiter was inattentive (think he was bored and kept disappearing) wine glass not regularly refilled. Food good as always.

    Never ever before had a bad experience with Ivy so this ime choosen to book a table dor my friend birthday as a surprise treat for her. What a big mistake. Place was super loud, we was struggling to have a conversation and service was very slow. It feels like we sat forever with empty plates and it probably would be even longer if i wouldnt walk to staff who was actively chatting to ask for dessert menu so we would finnaly get some attention. What a big mistake it was to choose Ivy for a special occasion. At the end of the night, I was so ashamed, that I ruined my friend's surprise by choosing this place.

    Awesome visit to have afternoon tea. The building and decor is beautiful, airy and inviting. The staff treat you like you are vip’s and are helpful and friendly and professional. And then the food…afternoon tea was delicious, a mountain of sandwiches and cakes to devour. Just a lovely experience and a great memory created with friends.

    Lovely meal on Saturday for our wedding anniversary. Nice table not too close to the open doors. Perhaps would have liked a table towards the back with less traffic from people coming into dine.

    Beautiful restaurant but if dining for 2 the tables are on top of each other and just inside the door. Despite a quiet afternoon we were sat right next to 2 other people. Service lovely but hard to get attention to buy extra drinks etc. However a beautiful setting if you can be seated further than next to the door way 🙂

    Lovely place, great food and service! Wines are overpriced but the food was good value, well presented and full of flavour! Can understand why it’s popular! Wish we had one in Stratford Upon Avon!
