The ground floor includes a round bar area while the restaurant's stained-glass windows take their design cues from the history that surrounds this beautiful cathedral city. From the moment we arrived the service was amazing!! We came to celebrate our anniversary and we weren't disappointed. We asked to have a drink at the bar before we sat at our table, we were taken to great seats. When we were ready, we had a lovely table and a lovely waitress who was very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was above our expectations, we spend over 2 and half hours at our table, and at no point did we feel rushed. This will not be our last visit.

Connor looked after us very well considering he was so busy! The food was great. The service made us very happy. The wine was very expensive a dry rose £25 for two glasses! It was very warm in the restaurant which wasn’t nice. Overall a lovely lunch.

Same ambience as all the other Ivy Brasseries. - very nice and feels a bit special.

I love The Ivy. The restaurants are always beautifully clean, the staff well trained and providing attentive but not over done service, the food delicious and consistently prepared. Never disappointed. My only regret is that I keep forgetting to join the points club. Keep up the good work, Ivy!

Previous Birthday visits for Afternoon Tea were really special and memorable. However, despite recording that this was a birthday on the booking, and it being mentioned during our welcome by the staff, there was nothing else to mark the event as on previous visits. When mentioning this to several wait staff, including as we left, there was a dissmissive attitude. In general the wait staff were rushed and not attentive, unlike on previous occasions at the Ivy, and we left feeling disappointed.
