The Private Room at The Ivy Chelsea Garden seats 30 on one long table, or 24 on three round tables of 8, and is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as drinks and canapé receptions for 50 guests, 7 days a week.Decorated in a similar style to The Ivy Chelsea Garden, the walls of The Private Room are adorned with colourful vintage botanical prints and sumptuous floral artwork. The bespoke patterned white Carrara and Fior de Pesco grey marble tiled flooring, eclectic mix of vintage dining chairs upholstered with bold floral and palm printed fabric and hanging gilt leaf pendants add a touch of glamour to the room.With a selection of menus available, specially created by our Executive Chef, Sean Burbidge, The Private Room is equally as suited to private parties and wedding celebrations as it is for corporate breakfasts, lunches and dinners. There is a beautiful marble top private bar decorated with bevelled antique mirror panels and trimmed brass.

You made our day so special! We LOVE The Ivy Chelsea Garden branch, great service, great food and great staff. Honestly this is the best branch, I like that the staff are multilingual as well, so we can communicate better.

I have visited The Ivy Chelsea Garden several times before and have always been very satisfied, but the service we received yesterday was extremely disappointing. When placing our drink order, the waiter disappeared twice, prioritizing the tables next to us instead. The drinks arrived after the food. While serving, he bumped into cutlery, tablecloths, and glasses. He seemed disorganized, didn’t ask if we wanted more water or drinks (despite us expressing that we did), and gave us the bill without us asking for it. Paying a 13% tip for such service is unacceptable.

Poor food quality. We were served with delays. I got a burger, in which the meat was cold and the bun was not fresh. Felt like a bread left outside for days. The restaurant atmosphere was great and the staff were very polite. However, the quality of the food was very disappointing!

The overall dining experience is good except the lighting level is too low, the menu writing is too small to read and the reverberation (noise level) sound is too high
