The Private Room at The Ivy Chelsea Garden seats 30 on one long table, or 24 on three round tables of 8, and is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as drinks and canapé receptions for 50 guests, 7 days a week.Decorated in a similar style to The Ivy Chelsea Garden, the walls of The Private Room are adorned with colourful vintage botanical prints and sumptuous floral artwork. The bespoke patterned white Carrara and Fior de Pesco grey marble tiled flooring, eclectic mix of vintage dining chairs upholstered with bold floral and palm printed fabric and hanging gilt leaf pendants add a touch of glamour to the room.With a selection of menus available, specially created by our Executive Chef, Sean Burbidge, The Private Room is equally as suited to private parties and wedding celebrations as it is for corporate breakfasts, lunches and dinners. There is a beautiful marble top private bar decorated with bevelled antique mirror panels and trimmed brass.

Very good service, the staff was amazing very helpful and friendly. Couldn’t do enough for us, our birthday celebration was wonderful. Absolutely love the Christmas decoration. One of our favourite spots to dine. Top marks to the chef and staff.

The staff are way to interested in chatting about what they are doing at the weekend. These staff at front house should not have a job here. They are rude and not interested - we are regulars and It was an inconvenience for them to welcome or serve us. It’s not a cheap place to eat breakfast and should be great experience. Service was slow, food was great but when I said I didn’t want to pay the service charge the girl just laughed! Really professional. You need to go back to basics, welcome your guests and make them feel valued. We did not do will take my business elsewhere .

It may have just been unrealistic expectations on our part but when we reserved an afternoon tea experience we were anticipating a somewhat quiet elegant atmosphere with others around us also enjoying a proper British Tea. It was not. It was a VERY LOUD popular restuarant that brought us the tea in the same manner as everyone else's fish & chips were being delivered. The price tipped us that the experience would be a little less impressive than others we researched but it was very far off the mark. The presentation on the plates was nice. Some of the sandwiches were tasty, others were soggy. The scones were ok as were the desserts. It appeared that it would be a fine restuarant to get a nice meal of you are ok with a loud noise level.

As always The Ivy Chelsea never fails to disappoint. Despite being Christmas and being very busy the service and quality of food was top notch!

A lovely breakfast with friends in the most idyllic setting. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Food delicious and delivered quickly but not rushed in any way. Wonderful and can’t wait to go back!

Good food but restaurant very cramped. I was nearly sitting on top of my neighbours! Hitting elbows!!! However the snowman dessert was AMAZING! Also VERY noisy and had to shout over to each other.
