The Ivy Castle View is an all-day British brasserie in the heart of Guildford, located just off the High Street, the main entrance is within the Tunsgate Quarter. With an all-encompassing menu serving modern British and international Ivy-inspired classics from dawn until dusk, the restaurant is open seven days a week and is also featuring a private dining room, outdoor terrace and a bar, offering tranquil relaxed yet sophisticated dining with beautiful views across Guildford Castle.

Our experience was delightful , we really enjoyed everything, for mum and three daughters to spend time ‘just us’ was lovely. We find baby sitters for the grand babies so we can come out and remember who we are. Really enjoyed it Staff are fantastic

Lovely breakfast we had , very tasty !! sat outside on the balcony where it was a gorgeous sunny day . Service was amazing , would definitely go again to try out an evening meal next time 🥂😊

Friend and I had the set meal as was close to what we would have chosen and a better deal. She only drinks New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc so ordered that without looking at the wine menu so a bit shocked when the bill came as £60.00. Maybe we should have been consulted, as in fine we have that but its pricy! No matter the food and service were great so no problem.

A fantastic experience as always, wonderful service and great food. Always a pleasure and such a great place for a special occasion. Can’t wait for the next excuse to come again!

Was really excited to take my mum here for her birthday as her first ever visit to the Ivy for afternoon tea, got a call the day before confirming my booking and they said as it was a birthday they would do a little something special. Unfortunately there was nothing special and not even a Happy Birthday from any of the staff. Was quite disappointed especially after receiving a call before to say they would do something a bit special.

Always love the Ivy, mainly for the service and ambience, the food is an added bonus.

Although the restaurant looks busy, somehow it is never too noisy. Lovely food; tasty and filling. Rounded off with the sumptuous chocolate bombe (can never resist it). Love it that they give you a chilled glass for your beer, especially nice on a hot day. Waiting staff are attentive and polite. Always worth it, even if it is slightly on the expensive side.

The overall experience at the Ivy Castle View was very pleasant. The food was so nice and good value for money. The waiting staff were always smiling and helpful and the service was quick.
